Attendance Reports
The Reports section lets you generate, save, and download attendance summaries for your organization.

Generating a Report
- Navigate to Reports from the sidebar.
- Click Create Report.
- Configure the report parameters:
- Report Name — A descriptive name for this report.
- Date Range — Select the start and end dates.
- Department — Optionally filter by department (leave blank for all).
- Click Generate.
The system processes all attendance records within the date range and creates a report.
Report Types
Summary Report
The summary report provides an overview per employee:

| Working Days | Number of days the employee was scheduled to work |
| Present Days | Days the employee clocked in |
| Absent Days | Days the employee was absent |
| Late Count | Number of times the employee was late |
| Total Late Minutes | Cumulative late minutes |
| Overtime Hours | Total approved overtime hours |
| Leave Days | Total leave days taken |
Detail Report
The detail report shows daily attendance records:

| Clock In | Actual clock-in time |
| Clock Out | Actual clock-out time |
| Work Hours | Calculated working hours |
| Status | On-time, Late, Absent, Leave, Holiday |
| Late Minutes | Minutes late (if applicable) |
| Overtime | Overtime hours (if applicable) |
| Notes | Any admin notes or corrections |
Viewing Reports
Created reports are listed on the Reports page with:
- Report Name — Click to view details.
- Date Range — The period covered.
- Created Date — When the report was generated.
- Favorite — Star reports for quick access.
Downloading Reports
Each report can be downloaded in CSV format:
- Click on the report.
- Click Download Summary for the summary CSV.
- Click Download Detail for the detailed daily CSV.
Tip: Open CSV files in Excel or Google Sheets for further analysis. The summary report is best for payroll processing, while the detail report helps investigate specific attendance issues.
Saved Reports
Reports are saved and can be accessed anytime. Use the favorite toggle to mark frequently used reports for quick access.
To delete a report you no longer need, click the delete button on the report card.
Employee Attendance View
You can also view attendance for a specific employee:
- Go to Employees and open an employee's detail page.
- Click the Attendance tab.
- Select a date range.
- View day-by-day attendance records.
- Click Download to export as CSV.
Admin Corrections
If an attendance record needs correction (e.g., an employee forgot to clock out):
- Open the employee's attendance view.
- Click on the specific date record.
- Edit the clock-in or clock-out time.
- Add a note explaining the correction.
- Save the changes.
Note: All corrections are logged for audit purposes. The original and corrected times are both recorded.
